The Akron Urban League has teamed up with 7th Floor Clothing to release a limited edition Juneteenth Tee curated by award-winning designer, Preston J. Clark. The back of the shirt has the line "Nobody's free until everybody's free" from the Fannie Lou Hamer speech delivered at the founding meeting of the National Women’s Political Caucus in Washington, D.C. on July 10, 1971. On June 16th, The Urban League is hosting 2 events in one day at its Akron Ohio branch at 440 Vernon Odum Blvd. Akron OH 44307. The shirt will be available for all ages at the daytime event from 2-6 pm and at the evening adult event from 7-11 pm.
