7th Floor Clothing owners Preston Clark and Frank Miller III were invited to introduce Akron, OH Mayor Dan Horrigan for his 2020 state of the city address. The event highlighted initiatives to improve the city of Akron by bringing new jobs, developments and encouraging community support of local entrepreneurs. The co-founders spoke to the crowd of 1,000 guests about current and future highlights before bringing the mayor to the stage. Mayor Horrigan has been a supporter of 7th Floor Clothing since 2018 when he introduced the Ebay Retail Revival program in Akron. 7th Floor produced t-shirts for his campaign in 2019 and will continue to work hand in hand with Mayor Horrigan for years to come.
